The Tradition

What is a Trailride?

Trailrides are a Black Southern tradition rooted in music, movement, community, and pride. They bring people together through horses, line dancing, food, and fellowship, creating a space where Black culture is celebrated, preserved, and passed forward.

Tiger Trailride brings that same spirit to LSU. We use the joy and connection of Black culture as the vehicle that carries students toward graduation, careers, and a lasting legacy.
